The Nutrition Assessment Clinic (NAC) at the Kingston Institute of Neurofeedback is an integral part of our multidisciplinary team. Our Registered Dieticians offer personalized nutrition assessments and diet planning to both our clients and the public, recognizing the significant impact nutrition has on wellbeing and its role in enhancing mental and physical health.

How It Works

We accept referrals from healthcare providers or self-referrals by phone or email. We'll advise on a nutritionist’s availability.

The dietitian will gather information about your medical history, lifestyle, and exercise routine to create a computerized food intake analysis.

Your dietitian will develop a personalized nutrition plan tailored to your individual needs and goals and provide ongoing support and monitoring.

The Nutrition Assessment Clinic works with athletes, teams, gyms, health professionals, and individuals to provide personalized nutrition advice. We also work with employee assitance programmes (EAP) and insurance companies. Our registered dietitians can help you create meal plans to optimize your brain and body functions, enhance athletic performance, mitigate chronic disease, alleviate digestive issues, and safely implement alternative diets.

Nutrition has a significant impact on brain health and mental well-being. Research shows a balanced diet rich in nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals can enhance cognitive function, mood regulation, and overall mental health. The Dietitians at the NAC work closely with our patients to develop personalized nutrition plans to promote brain health, enhance mood stability, and support mental clarity.

By addressing the link between nutrition and brain health, we aim to provide comprehensive care empowering individuals to achieve optimal mental wellness.
